Greetings RoGo Racers!
We hope you are enjoying your Spring Break. As always, you are on our minds and in our hearts!
Here are a few reminders:
ALL students must complete 6 sessions of Reading Plus by Tuesday, April 2nd. (We will run the report from March 12th to April 2nd; as long as 6 sessions were done within that time period, you're good!)
English Language students:
Read the rest of Act I and all of Act II. Be prepared for a quiz--as usual. :o)
Enjoy the rest of your break! We will hit the ground running once we return. The finish line is in sight!
XOXO
We love you all!
The true test of a CHAMPION is not whether he can triumph, but whether he can overcome obstacles.

Period 3
As you know, we are going to do a 1984 "Harlem Shake." If you want to be a part of it, leave a comment about what you plan to be or the prop you plan to bring with you to class. Remember, you do not have to participate!

Periods 3, 4, and 6
PERIODS 3 & 4: EXTRA CREDIT!
This Saturday is FCAT Camp for Reading and the math EOCs. It will be for all 9th, 10th, and Retake students.
The schedule will be as follows: 8:00 - 8:15 Breakfast; 8:30 - 10:00 Session 1; 10:00 -10:15 Break; 10:15 -11:45 Session 2; and 11:45 -12:00 Lunch. Students should report to the picnic tables in front of the cafeteria and will be guided from there.
In addition to our set schedule, students will be offered the opportunity of taking part in an array of activities planned by Ms. Nadel and the 21st Century program. This will allow you to receive community service hours in addition to the food and extra credit you will already be receiving.
ALL PERIODS: Do a requirement check for Reading Plus. There have been many updates for Java, Microsoft, Apple, and Reading Plus, which is having an effect on your sessions. Please do this TODAY! You can run the system check when you get to the log-in screen.
PERIOD 6: Check teamrogo.com under English Language for your HW. The slideshow you need to copy is there.
PERIOD 5: The PPT from class is at teamrogo.com. It's the "Riii" one. Copy the slides you missed. If you were absent, copy the whole PPT.
PERIOD 4: Click on the image below to see the format for your FCAT Writes review. If you had already written it for HW (remember, I gave you the green check mark) then you don't have to do it.
